Country of origin: USA Maid of Orleans is lightly fragrant true Jasmine. The flowers are waxy, snow white, clusters very tight, small singles that are typically about 1/2 in diameter.
The flowers are present almost continuously in warm climates. The leaves are small sized, glossy ovals, spaced in pairs on a rather open, upright growing plant.
Frequent pruning is needed to encourage branching and reduce top heaviness. Maid of Orleans performs best outdoors in full sun to light shade, but can be adapted to grow indoors, but may require supplemental light to flower. Great gift for a gardener of any skill level.
